A New Walk for a New Season

1st June 2025

From the very beginning of her life, this woman faced challenges most people could never imagine. Born prematurely, she had to be placed in an incubator, and during that fragile time, a tragic accident occurred—a needle broke in her left foot. That single incident would affect the next 25 years of her life.

As she grew, it became clear that her left leg and foot were not developing normally. Her walk was different—awkward, strained, and often painful. She walked on her toes, her knees turned inward in a condition commonly referred to as knock knees, and every step came with an unusual kickback. It wasn’t just a physical challenge; it was deeply emotional. She felt the sting of being stared at, laughed at, and bullied. Some judged her without ever understanding the story behind her steps.

Despite it all, she pushed forward. From childhood into adulthood, she endured multiple surgeries in an effort to correct her walk. Each operation came with its own set of pain, recovery, and hope. Her final corrective surgery was done in 2016, and while it offered some improvement, the core issues still remained.

Then one ordinary Sunday, something extraordinary happened.

She was at church, preparing to leave, when she felt the simple urge to give the healing room leader a hug before heading out. She approached him, not thinking of prayer or healing—just a hug. But when she leaned in, he paused and said, “Let me pray for your feet.” Surprised, she gently refused, saying, “No, I just wanted to give you a hug.” But he insisted with love and authority: “Sit down.”

So she obeyed.

What happened next was nothing short of miraculous. As he prayed over her feet—praying specifically for her legs to straighten, her ligaments to lengthen, and her walk to be restored—she and the others around saw something beginning to shift. It wasn’t gradual. It wasn’t weeks of therapy or months of recovery. It was immediate.

Within a matter of minutes, the condition she had struggled with for over two decades was healed. Her toes came down. Her knees aligned. Her walk—once awkward—became balanced and strong. She stood up and walked across the room, amazed at what had just taken place. For the first time in 25 years, she wasn’t walking on her toes. There was no kickback. No limp. Just freedom.

The tears came to persons looking at her—tears of joy, gratitude, and awe. She was no longer that little girl with the strange walk. She was now a woman made whole, a walking testimony of God’s power and love.

She shared with overwhelming gratitude, “I have been given a new walk for a new season. This isn’t just a physical healing—it’s spiritual, emotional, and deeply personal. The Lord Jesus Christ, my Healer, has done what no surgeon, no therapy could do. And He did it not because I earned it, but because of His mercy, love, and glory.”

Now, as she steps into this new season of her life, she walks not only with strength in her legs but with confidence in her spirit. The shame is gone. The fear is gone. What remains is a testimony—one that she will carry for the rest of her life.

To anyone who hears her story, she wants you to know: God still heals. He still sees. He still moves. And sometimes, what begins with a hug ends in a miracle.

All glory and honor to Jesus Christ.
