A New Walk for a New Season

25th October 2025

From as early as she could remember, this young girl lived in a world muffled by silence. By age fourteen, hearing loss had been her constant companion for her entire life. She wore hearing aids in both ears just to make sense of the sounds around her—yet even with them, hearing was a struggle. In school, she faced not only the difficulty of her condition but also the cruelty of others. Children bullied her, mocked her hearing aids, and treated her like an outsider. She often felt alone, misunderstood, and different.

But hope found her through someone who loved her—her uncle. Believing that God could do what doctors could not, he brought her to the Healing Rooms at TAM. She walked in quietly, unsure of what to expect, but with a small spark of faith that things could change.

The team welcomed her with warmth and compassion. They gathered around her and prayed, speaking life and restoration over her ears. They declared boldly that her hearing would return, that God would do something supernatural in her life.

Then the Healing Rooms leader stepped closer and gently asked her name. After she answered, he walked a bit further away from her. With his mouth covered, he called her name softly—testing to see if she could hear without relying on lip-reading or her hearing aids.

She didn’t respond.
She couldn’t hear him.
But he wasn’t discouraged.

He explained that he was activating her faith—inviting her to believe that even though she couldn’t hear yet, God was already moving. He called her name again. She strained to hear—still nothing.

And then, suddenly, everything changed.

In one miraculous moment, without hearing aids, she heard it—her name. Clear. Distinct. Real. Her eyes widened as she turned toward the leader’s voice.

The leader stepped back again—farther this time. He called her name once more with his mouth still covered. She responded instantly. The room erupted with excitement.

He walked even farther away—three, four times—each time speaking softly, each time she heard perfectly and answered confidently. Her ears had opened. The silence that had followed her all her life was gone.

The atmosphere shifted completely. Joy, awe, and gratitude filled the room as she began talking and laughing with the team, hearing every word naturally—something she had never experienced before. Her uncle watched in amazement, overwhelmed at what God had just done.

Before she left, she slipped both hearing aids into her pocket.
Not out of habit—
but because she no longer needed them.

She walked out of the Healing Rooms hearing fully, freely, and beautifully for the first time in her life. A young girl who once felt like an outcast now carried a testimony of God’s love and power that would follow her forever.

A lifelong condition healed in a single moment.
A life changed by the touch of Jesus.
